I'm a senior software engineer with 15+ years of experience and a PhD in responsible technological innovation. My work sits at the intersection of software engineering, aquaculture, and sustainable technology.

What I Do

I build production-grade data platforms for the aquaculture industry, integrating systems like Fishtalk, Mercatus, IoT sensors, and ocean models. My tech stack centers on Rust and Python, with cloud infrastructure on AWS.

Currently at AquaCloud, I architect data pipelines and integrations for Norwegian salmon farmers.

Research

My PhD explored how technology adoption shapes regional industrial development, with a focus on the salmon farming industry in Norway, Australia, and the USA. I conducted 92 interviews and comparative case studies across three continents.

Thesis: The Evolution of Technological Trajectories: Responsible Innovation and Regional Industrial Path Development
